Sorry I didn’t take any pictures or else I would post this in the how to section. I picked up used 2020 cforce 400 last November to add to my family’s garage. I had a problem not long after buying it that seemed like a o2 sensor by the codes and I was able to put one in and clear the code by removing the positive battery cable with the key switch on. Well we rode this weekend on our property for about an hour in 80-85 degree temps and then stopped for lunch. I parked the 400, 500 and 800EX in the side yard outside of the garage in the sun. After lunch we went out to ride some more and they all fired right up except for the 400. I had to hold the throttle to start it and it died as some as I let off. The tank had a huge amount of pressure inside and about a half a tank of fuel. I went ahead and watched a video on YouTube of a guy deleting a 500 evap system for this concern. Mine was different but I found the lines needed just in different places. I removed everything and capped of the old vacuum port. I rode yesterday in 90 degrees and checked afterwards and there was no pressure in the tank. No efi light or anything so I feel like we’re all good. Also the EFI light flashed a code when this happened. I didn’t read the code this time as I knew the evap was at least part of my problem. Fingers crossed.
