CFMOTO 2021 manual page 24, 89 Octane minimum unleaded.
Ethanol is bad on small engine fuel systems, especially if it sits in there for a time.
My industry experience with small marine engines including outboards is that it causes hotter operating temperatures, erratic running, and engine-part failure because of the corrosive effect on aluminum parts in the fuel system. It is also tough on plastic and rubber parts. The ethanol tends to settle out of the gas, and then becomes hygroscopic, "scavenges moisture", buttony to a point. Once it is saturated, Then the water and saturated ethanol drops the bottom of the tank. This also clogs up the tiny offices found in small carburetors, injectors and throttle bodies.
You can typically buy non-ethanol Fuel at CENEX, and also at just about every marina if you so happen to live by one who sells gas.
In my humble opinion, I would not sure my machine with ethanol blend in it, at least not without a proven additive like "Quickshot" by AMSOIL. Also Sta-Bil sells "Sta-Bil Storage"
