Cforce 550 eps

Can anyone help please

I would try asking for information on the eps electrical tests in the general catagory. see if someone also has the missing section from the manual. I have a few different model manuals and I can't seem to find any info outside of physically removing the unit even though they make reference to another section for info that's not there. The wiring diagram shows it, but as far as function of each wire, that would be helpful to find the source of the problem

I have traced all the circuits. This is my GUESS.

The eps is RPM or speed adjusting

The eps ecu gets feedback from the torque sensor, then supplies power to the motor, alternating positive and negative to turn the motor cw or ccw.

2013 Z6 Trail
Iron Baltic skid plates
UE Boom Speaker mount
RZR 800 Shocks
Mostly stock trail riding
25g. Rollers and A1

Too new for mods yet

Hello again, ok as I told you before the only way to test the EPS is thru the EPS indicator to get an error code, since from your video we don't get a good sign of error or blinking of the indicator the only way is to discard what is wrong. Since your EPS indicator turns off after ignition and it should be on until engine start something is not very wright. The connector draw which cosmosdan gently upload are the test cable which goes to the PDA, you should have a test connector plug in the front of the ATV labeled EPS and another labeled ECU. Since there is no error code the PDA will not find much since it is just a code error reader. From what I get of your video I will go checking the EPS fuse, then all cables and plugs that goes to the EPS ECU and to the motor as well. The EPS ECU is located over the right front wheel behind the light plastic cover, revise your service manual on how to disasemble it, you have to remove it and check them. Other test what I would do is to see if the ECU receive positive current. There are not much troubleshooting for the EPS on the manual, fuse, cables and plugs, motor and finally the EPS ECU, I read in this forum but I can find it is that someone open the ECU and there was something burned inside? The next step is to swap the ECU with another good one and try to see if you find a different to discard ECU problems or malfunction.
There is not much I can tell you, you have to tell us your test and discoverys, so we can go with other option after we get your findings.

No problem, glad to help, if you have close by a dealer it is best to take the bike, but ask for quote before they go in to repair, EPS ECU is expensive. To check the fuse and wiring is easy, no need for an expert, for further checks try to get help of a friend or technician friend, and if you feel more comfortable, a dealer service is alway the best suggestion I can made.

Search the member list and pm him. I think if it comes down to it, you could get the non eps stem and put that in. Shouldn't be too bad to steer with all that stuff pulled out.
