EPS and diff lock issues on 22 cforce
« on: March 31, 2025, 11:10:07 PM »
I changed EPS controller but still have stiff steering, when I engage 4x4 and diff lock it blows main power fuse, wondering if diff lock is stuck in on or engaged position and what is the fix for this, thanks. 2022 cforce 1000

The main fuse is a 20 or 30 amp before the distribution fuse box...which has a fuse in it for the 4wd system. If the main fuse is blowing and not any in the fuse box...you got a real problem. One the needs professional attention. However, if it is the 4wd fuse in the box that's blowing then the motor could be jammed, seized or stuck for some reason or it has water in it..or the connector..which is not unheard of. Yes, it could also be stuck in or out of 4wd. Pull it and inspect the gear rail, fork operation then try working the actuator unattached.

It’s the 15 amp fuse in the box that’s blowing, I’ll see if I can get into the actuator and those things you mentioned, thanks for the info, I’ll post my findings in a few days.
