Going to elephant Butte for a week and was wondering if anyone here knew it the riding in the area. Never ridden there and don't want to tow a TV's if it's not worth it. Thanks for any response

I'm not sure ATV riding was ever allowed at the Butte but this link may answer some of your questions. Know that many areas in NM are closed now due to fire restrictions. Elephant butte State park probably isn't one of them but need to check first. If it isn't, it may be a mad-house down there....and the water level will be very low. Just a guess.
