Has anyone used EPI severe duty belts?
I have on my Brute Force many years ago. Great belt other then it like some others, stretched over time. The Kawasaki system has shims that adjust for that where most CFM's don't. But, would I trust the EPI belt? Yes.

Aight.
Nope, havent had time to take pics of my 2022 Cforce 800XC.
Maybe this weekend.

I wont go with all the whys of being a newb to ATVs, or why I went with CFMoto.

Not disappointed though.

I'm an "old school biker" . . by old school I mean pans, shovels, kick start and screw your not american twinkies and so forth.

I run an open belt drive, points, condensor in a completely low performance stock 1980 shovelhead.

However, my aftermarket belt drive takes a beating.

I've drifted gravel roads, ridden thousands of miles in snow and rain and the thing keeps going.

Something I lve learned about belt drives.

they CONTRACT (because they swell) when they get hot.

your better a bit loose than snug.

Been reading about the belts on these things and from previous experience have learned bit from other machines.

Primo, rivera, Gates, BDL  . . .  all these belts Swell and tighten up when they get hot.

Once I learned that . .  I quit destroying belts. (my first Shovel had a belt drive and it would hit 150 mph, but I killed belts at first)

that being said . . perhaps enough folks could get one of these companies to make the CFmoto aftermarket belts.

I went with CFMoto for a number of reasons . .

I LIKE my machine.

It appears to me that the primary difference is displacement, not the drive system . .
it shouldn't be too hard to open a dialogue with some of these established belt makes and talk to them about getting belts specifically designed for these machines.

They have to pay their bills too . .

Same thing with the filter companies.

I wouldnt hesitate to put a K&N on my harley or my 74 Ramcharger but on this . . in current dialogue Im going to defer to the information ive found here.

But why cant we talk to K&N and other manufacturers and say hey, we need somethig a little more . .

I bought my CFMoto because I wanted an ATV for fun, for work and for travel in the woods. So far, im pretty impressed. Ive been wrenching and riding/driving other stuff for forty years. I havent hit the break in tune up yet on it, but I've already stripped it [a

I bought mine partially because of the reviews and the belief that CFMoto intends to be relevant and the voice of it's followers is getting pretty big.

Use that . . .

Lots of wallets talk a lot louder than random purchases here and there.

I like this machine enough to use the absolute best parts I can to take care of it . . just like the Harley I built out of boxes and bits and pieces, some of which I made by hand.

My 800XC parks right next to my Harley.

I am pretty sure there is a strong enough voice to talk to some of these manufacturers and get a positive response. Once these companies realize the CFMoto isnt just fad they will respond

2022 CFMoto CForce 800XC. Lava Orange/Camo Swapped 9x14-27/Fr 11x14-27/RR, Interco Sniper 920, RJWC header. MSC 90 intake.
2023 CFMoto CForce 800XC Camo/Orange Swapped, Heat Demon grip heater, Turn signal kit, All Balls winch remote kit. RNG Clutch kit w/ Scorpion 3 stage helix. Camso X4S tracks for winter fun. Ice biter chains for destroying asphalt.

Hello, is the new belt the same width as the original one? Did you clean the system properly? It seems to be skiding some how...

I smoked my belt this weekend, 15 800 ex. When  I started to winch out it couldn't move the machine so I hit the throttle trying to spin the tires to free it up and forgot that I had the diff lock engaged. The winch was pinning down the front end so my bad!!! Anyways started back down the trail and there was an awfull noise coming from clutch area, kind of snapping, banging noise, I limited the speed under 25 cause it got very loud as speed increased and limped back to trailer. Pulled the clutches and the only thing I can find wrong is just the major flat spot on the belt. Any one else experience this? Am I missing something? I have flat spotted belts before on my snowmobile but never experienced any kind of noise. I am replacing it with an OEM belt so hopefully all will be good once my new belt gets here. By the way local dealer wanted $370 for a belt, call the place where I got my machine (400 miles away)and they quoted me $265 and gave me 20% off and shipped it for $5 and threw in a half dozen plastic push pins, very happy, great dealership!

Look up RNG Performance, I think he is cheaper than that on OEM belts

Hello guys and girls. I own a Cforce 800, from 2016. I recently bought a belt form Aliexpress, it was a Mitsuboshi

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005534987427.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.33.b2d91802fkEJaf

Seller told me that this is not original, but an imitation, and I ordered anyway.
I ran 250 km, and apparently it has stretched after some regular effort. A piece of garbage.
I gonna buy an Ultimax unit, I'm thinking about buying the short option UA483, instead the recommended UA484. It is 30 mm shorter. Why? Because I see that the standard version (969 mm) goes to close to the external case on the secondary pulley. If it stretches a little bit, it begins to touch the case when starting form stop position. Any tought about my idea? Regards...

It shouldn't ever ride high enough on the secondary to make contact with the cover..no one elses does...unless it's coming apart. You won't have that problem with the Ultimax belts anyway. Buy the correct belt...because 30mm is a massive amount and will ride mid-way up on the primary changing the gear ratio so much at take off.. you will regret it.

We just came out with the CF Moto belt for the ZForce, CForce, and UForce. These were designed by one of the best powersports clutch engineers in the country along with Todd, owner, at Hunterworks.

They are an exact fit for each model. It took two years to design this belt. Made in the USA!

If you need a belt, shoot me an email or visit our websites! They can also be found on AMAZON!

Thanks, Hunter at Hunterworks

Anyone know what size threads are on the spreader tool?  I know they are available for sale online, but can't I just use a bolt with the correct threads.  Havn't had to change my belt yet with 600 miles on my 600, but I know it will be coming in the future.

On the older ones we just use one of the cover bolts...a short one. I think they are 6mm x 1.0 pitch I think.

I bought 2023 cforce 625 at 390 km last week and i made more than 100 km until now but at first take off it when i hit the throttle lever smoothly and slowly it makes little bit jerkness i'm thinking about to check the belt but there is no weird sound or smell when i ride at the mountain .. and also planning to get a belt as speare . Ultimax or gates workhorse would be a good choice ? Does anyone has an experience with these belts ?

Hunter at Hunterworks here. We have 20 years of CVT clutch experience and we design/sell our own drive belts. (Made in the USA)

Clutching for any and all CVT driven vehicles can be an issue. Everything depends on riding style, clutch calibration, and the way they come from the factory. CF Moto being a newer line, they are bound to have clutching problems. They are also made in China and who knows the person behind the clutching engineering side. You never know.

What we have seen are some reliable vehicles and some not so much, all doing with clutching. Our belt took 2 years to develop and that is due to the poor clutching. We have seen better grip and life with our belts.

If you have any questions on clutching and CF Moto, hit us up. You can find our contact within our websites.

If you need a belt for Z Force, U Force, or C Force, check ours out.
