Differential fluid change procedure
« on: March 10, 2022, 09:17:23 PM »
Just wondering which method everyone is using. On my Cforce I drained both front and rear and filled up until the oil started coming out. On my Zforce I actually measured the amount listed in the manual (330ml front and 400ml rear). I see no difference either way. I will say that the metric system is growing on me. I have fought it my whole life but it really is easier to use. Like my oil in the Zforce. I get it hot, drain it and replace the filter. I fill my metric marked pitcher to 2900ml and fill it up. Perfect every time.

For any CFM product only fill the diffs/gear cases with the amount indicated in the manual. They do not use the fill port as the top of the fluid level as most other do. Overfilling causes foaming and additional heating which leads to some discharge through the vent tubes.
