Word on the street from an independent shop is that CFMoto wouldn't stand behind the machines that had problems, thus leaving the dealer and customers on the short end.  Most dealers don't like unhappy customers.

I had more problem with my dealer not wanting to fix the machine. Tho I have had it out with CFM over the phone as well, CFM puts it on the dealer with my issue. I just figure I'm going to fix it all myself anyway screw the dealer and CFM

I spoke to that dealer before I bought mine.  They had 2 or 3 2015 models for sale which were nicely discounted.  I opted to go with a '17 model from the Davenport dealer.  I did find it odd they had that many 2015's still for sale in early 2017, but whatever.  Maybe they just weren't selling well.  That can't be a big market up there.

I haven't visited my dealer yet. If i do decide to stick with CF ill do all of my own repairs. I like what the brand has to offer, but there needs to be more aftermarket parts available, the more i search for things and i find so many choices for other brands, the more i question my purchase.

I would like to add that I have 5500 miles on my machine(2015) and have had only a couple things that I needed repair on so far and both were clutch issues.  I like the machine and if it continues running this well would consider a new one sometime.  Problem would be that if dealer stops selling them I probably will look at other brands.
