I made the mistake of ordering doors for my Zforce 800 Trail EPS from Stephan in Canada (BEFORE I joined this forum and found other options like Rodin doors....aw crap!!) and could not find any negative reviews, only positive, so I thought I was safe. He said I would have my doors within 2 weeks and YES he had decals to match the color of my ORANGE Zforce 800. Here is what happened:
@ 14 days the doors still not shipped....So I send an email asking why they are not shipped
3 days later he replies that they were shipped but the tracking number needs time to update and reflect that??
I know this is BS so I cancel the order, request a refund, and I file a complaint with Paypal
2 days later the tracking # finally reports that Canada post has the item
I receive the package today(1 month after placing the order) and he sent me RED DOORS? WTF???

Bummer...They are the wrong color so they probably need to go back.

Stephan's business is actually called "Scap doors".... I substituted the word "crap" because I am pissed off that it took a month AND he screwed up the decals so now I have this headache to deal with and still NO DOORS!

He should be able to send you the right decals. I know Rodin will sell just his decals too if needed. Probably won't fit the scrap doors very well though.

I appreciate your suggestions NMKawierider! The problem is that this clown doesn't respond in a timely manner, and has already lied to me about what was going on with my order, so I don't trust him to take care of this promptly or correctly. If he sent me the decals overnight ASAP and offered me a sizable partial refund for the hassle I might consider it, but then I have to pay someone to remove and reapply the decals correctly! Who pays for that?? I am also concerned about the quality/fitment of these doors when the guy who makes them is flaky and careless (or clueless). I paid him $650 USD for these, so it's not like these were cheaper than Rodin doors, and Rodin seems to get stuff to your door faster from Russia!! lol

Hope you can get your money back. Scrap doors shut down for a while and with orders from people that had already paid. When he started cranking them back out I though he had got his sh*t together but I guess not. Good luck.

Too bad for scrap doors, to go through the process of designing and building a product line,  and thus a business, then have poor customer service and care. Social media will kill their sales. I won't buy from the, now.

While I understand the frustration, it is possible he didn't know why the tracking number hadn't shown up as it appears he did send them out and the postal service is the one with the issue there. As for the color being wrong, that sucks and a mistake that shouldn't be made. I probably wouldn't do business with them. If this is a one time thing, mistakes happen but if its an ongoing issue with them that's not good. Rodin's doors took about 3 weeks to come but he is pretty responsive in email and they do come from Russia so the shipping time is expected coming by boat.

I know as a cross border vendor that packages sometimes go into limbo for unknown or unrevealed reasons that are beyond the control of the sender, only to get underway again as though nothing has happened. A check of the process date and/or the initial entry of the tracking thread will tell when it was acknowledged received for shipping, whether it was his fault or the various shippers.
To be fair, I remember reading on these pages an outraged customer's dissatisfaction when a set of Rodin doors arrived with incorrect decals. Stuff like that happens.
Bad joss when two such things happen in one order.

Canada post office has an "App" that allows real time tracking of the item down to the minute, and I also called them to confirm that they had NOT received the item when Stephan submitted an "electronic request" to ship and claimed that he had already shipped the item. I called the actual post office in Luskville that received the item 6 DAYS AFTER the "electronic request" was submitted and confirmed that they DID NOT receive the item until 6 days later....So 99% chance he lied, 1% chance that their system failed to update for 6 days when every other move made by the package was documented with down to the minute accuracy( Including when I received the item, the App notified me in about 3 minutes, which is acceptable lag for their system to generate and send a text) He also does NOT respond in a timely manner, taking 3 DAYS to reply to an email....seriously?? It sounds like this guy has a history of shenanigans and unprofessional behavior that made him shut down his business leaving a bunch of paid customers hanging....which for even a $10 item is NOT cool, but charging $650 USD (which is TOP DOLLAR for doors) and THEN jerk people around like this is UNACCEPTABLE!

Yeah I read about that, Rodin sent doors that said "Z8" (in the correct color at least) instead of "ZForce 800" which to be honest IMO is trivial in comparison. Rodin offered to send him a decal to paste over the "Z8" to correct it to "Zforce 800"(easy fix that I would feel comfortable doing myself) OR he would send NEW doors via snail mail from Russia(30-45 days) which seems more than fair. Rodin is responsive, and very accommodating to special requests/custom work, and he takes responsibility for his mistakes instead of lying about it to cover it up. Rodin has got his products to the buyers FROM RUSSIA (another continent) FASTER than I got my doors from Canada!! Stephan said I would RECEIVE them withing 2 weeks when it actually took 4 weeks AND he sent the WRONG color (which is not an easy fix like slap a sticker over a "Z8" logo, EVERY panel would need to be stripped of the entire surface, and then carefully apply new decals to them which is a much more difficult fix that I would need to pay someone to do CORRECTLY)

[So in summary:]

Upon closer inspection....The graphics DO NOT match in design OR color!! I was so pissed off at the color being wrong that I neglected to hold up the doors to check the design as well! Yup!! Stephan got the design wrong as well....NOT even close!!

So in summary:
Color: EPIC FAIL
Graphics Design: EPIC FAIL
Shipping: EPIC FAIL
Customer service: EPIC FAIL

At least he is consistent!

Looks like Stephan(Owner of Scap doors) is making me go through Paypal to return the item, dispute the charge, and wait for them to refund my money(30 days +/-)....WOW!! This guy has ZERO concern for his business reputation and should NOT be allowed to conduct business online! PERIOD!

Sorry about your doors. I had an issue with them 2 years ago with their cargo box lid. I never did get it resolved.
If you manage to get a refund from them, I would go with Roden for your doors. I got mine about 2 years ago, and could not be happier. Well made doors, perfect graphics that line up beautifully with the graphics on the machine! I had to send him a pic of my Z before he would make my doors, so no chance of wrong color or graphics. He emailed me pics of my doors being made, packaged, and shipped from post office. Also sent me a pic of my house (google earth) to make sure they were sent to the right adress!. Totally professional operation.
