I bought a 2022 CForce 600 a week ago and it won't start in cold weather. I brought it ice fishing last weekend and it would not start in 10F weather.
It cranks over fine and sputters at times but would not fire.
Any ideas before I bring it in under warranty

Other then try the lowest octane fuel you can in cold weather...and check the valve lash, probably best take it in.

The mechanic said it was a bad spark plug and put premium gas in. Said I need to leave the key on for 30 seconds to prime the fuel pump in cold winter?

Have you had any more issues from the cold starting?

I live in Minnesota where it's not uncommon for us to have below zero (Fahrenheit) weather.  Before delivery, the dealership put a lighter weight oil (5W-40) in the engine.  After break-in, I plan on running Amsoil 0W-40.  I also installed a battery tender and keep my CForce 400 plugged in 24/7 when I'm not riding.  Starts right up.  I use 91 octane (Recreation - Non-Ethanol) gas in all my power equipment - Harley-Davidson motorcycles, John Deere lawn tractor, snow thrower, chainsaw, weed trimmer, gas blower, ATV, etc.  I also add some Sta-Bil to keep the gas fresh.

On cold start, I turn the key on as well and let the fuel pump run for a few seconds as well, before starting.

Thanks for the info. I have left the key on for a minimum of 20 seconds in cold weather and have not had an issue since. I do use a battery tender on my sled and atv's
