Would this spanner work to get the clutch off??  Or what would you recommend me buying instead?  I do not have a welder and would prefer to buy something already setup if possible.  Thanks so much!

That one opens to 4.7". Although the secondary position is around 4.1", the primary is about 4.75". You might "adjust" the set screw/tab enough to get that extra..but yes, if you can that one with a cheater pipe(if necessary) will work.
