Maybe I haven't had the room to wind this thing out, but I've only got up to 55mph.  There is a green screw under the pedal, thought it's a governor of sorts, but should I take it out??

Might make sure it's adjusted but it's there to make sure you don't pull too hard on the throttle body ..meaning it's supposed to stop just before the cable runs out of slack so you don't damage the throttle body or the cable. While adjusting also remember the frame twists so a cable that is fixed on either end needs room for that flex as well.

Sorry guys i have not had a chance to update lately....I did not get a chance to work on it any this week.  I am going to just buy the OD sliders and go that route as i had GREAT luck with them in previous machines anyway.  I cant say that that is FOR SURE the problem but it will be where i start and I will go from there.  I will update the thread as i learn more.
