Hi everyone 

My quad has a loud tapping/clicking sound coming from the steering column!!
l just moved handle bars slightly and it happens.
Ever since l moved the handle bars to straighten the wheels while engine
was off and l think it put a strain on something in steering.

I am hoping its the dampener because it only costs like £2.00. just waiting for someone to sort it for me.
Has anyone fitted theses before? Feed back on your thoughts to what you might think it is please.

I might be wrong.. but I think either the torque bar is damaged or the gearing between the motor and stem...which is more likely. Either way it might be necessary to replace the main unit. You can pull the motor off and check the drive gears for damage or play though and maybe there are parts available for that if that's the case.
