has anyone experienced driving the quad up hill, down hill and flat surfaces the sensation as you slow down that the engine is starving for fuel and stalls out.  Further to symptom number one, when driving you hear the clicking sound and a sudden 1 second loss of power as if someone flicked a switch on and off.  This sends the quad into a one second loss of power but does not shut off or stall as if the battery power.  This loss of power throws you forward then once turned back on, throws you backwards.  VERY dangerous and hard on the shoulders.  The throttle as you give it fuel seems to want to hesitate for a few seconds then it takes off.  hope that makes sense let me know.  Its in the dealership now getting fixed or in this case diagnosed .  As per cfmoto I changed the spark plugs, no vapour locks, not bad fuel and running 94 octane and the fuel filter is good.

There has been a number of situations where battery power loss through a faulty main fuse block causes some reactions like you describe. There are also other connectors that if bad can do the same including the fuel pump circuit.
