I am a long time motorcycle and ATV mechanic that is new to the CFMoto brand. I am doing some work in a friends 2013 CF600-6 that has a trashed rear differential. I've been looking around at various sources for a new one without having to spend a ton of money and what I am finding is a lot of newer diffs that have an electronic component attached. Again new to the brand but I am assuming this is a diff lock. Will these interchange with the one on his machine aside from not having the electrical connection? Or does someone know a good place to get a he parts I need without spending an arm and a leg?

With CFM, in many cases, you won't have any choice but to buu their parts..if available. And to my knowledge, only outside the US and on newer machines will you find an actual rear diff with a locker or as we like to call it here in the US. "Turf Mode". It is at or near impossible to have one shipped to the US as well. So I don't know what you have found here, but if it is possible to install and has the exact same gear ratio as the front, there would be a lot of interest. In any case our information center has a list of all the known CFM parts houses. What year is this CForce 600?

2013..and this is the ATV then in the US we called then the X6,X5 or X8. They still sell parts for them but only one type of rear gear case for the US. No turf mode or locker...at least not from CFM.
