« on: November 08, 2019, 07:44:39 AM »
I replaced a broken brake line on my Cforce 800 a few weeks ago  and had a nightmare bleeding them , i have never in all my years had an issue bleeding brakes till this i tried reverse bleeding etc anyway to cut a long story short i had read that if you pressurized the master cylinder reservoir and open each bleed nipple in turn this would work AND GREAT NEWS IT DID because i live in the in the middle of nowhere i had to rig up my own tool for this i thought i would post the pics in case anyone else has this problem

Very creative & good on you  8)

I agree 100% on the nightmare that brake system is, CFMOTO cannot even offer a proper procedure. It's pathetic a decent service manual isn't in existence for as long as they say they have been producing vehicles.....any of them  ???

Yes, I've seen it & have a copy somewhere. Just as bad as the system design itself, then you complicate it with sub-grade component manufacturing that leaks air where it is impossible to find & identify  :o

I mentioned it somewhere else & will do so again if some poor unfortunate person is searching trying to bleed this system. This is in addition or an alternative to your method  ;)

Pump the handle bar lever & foot pedal then then secure them in the pressure position. Let them sit for awhile, sometimes over night. This will push the air out & you will be able to pump them up.

You can then try & bleed normally, you may end up losing pressure again & need follow the previous method. I've also had everything pumped & bleed properly only to loose pressure again after a few days. Then you may have a component leaking & you have to try & identify which POS it is  :)
