Just purchased a 2013 CF Moto 600 Synper. Before taking it on our maiden voyage I had to boost the battery. I charged it enough to start the SxS, and off we went, hoping the battery would charge it self { same as a truck would}on the way. 20 Km's out of town I lost power and engine backfired and died. I got it towed back to my house the next day. Put the battery on charge for 8 hours{ 13.45 load rating} and the following day the battery was back to Low setting. Is that why I lost power? Does this CFMoto have an alternator?

Time for a new battery as your old one wont hold the charge.
You also need to check the volts coming from your alternator (yes they all have one) to make sure it is charging properly.

X2.. Also running it with that issue is a good way to kill the ECU...and that's way more then a battery.

would first start the machine and check the voltage at the battery.  If it is in the mid 14v range then it's the battery.  If the voltage is below that you have other issues.
