The Alpha D.O.T. glass windshield has vents, but doesn't have the airflow I would like. The link below is to my personal blog with photos and details of my tilt out windshield mod.

I love the real glass over the plastics.
Especially driving into the sun!
Bit there are times a little more airflow would be a good thing

I'm always finding typos & stuff I forgot to include in my posts  ;D

I prefer glass also, less prone to scratching. To make SxS's street legal in Michigan, a D.O.T. glass windshield is required.

Just taking 1 TRICK Pony for a spin around the neighborhood, the increased airflow felt really good, since these machines are like driving an oven. I have another blog post about my efforts to reduce heat in the cab.

I have a 21' 800 Trail. I reduced cab heat by lining the center cover panel with a higher grade sticky back heart shield.
I also had added a Kit Particle Separator to the intake when I plumbed it in, I blocked off that center air vent to the base with ceramic heat blanket. This has helped immensely.
