600 touring Brake Lever
« on: October 16, 2024, 06:50:32 PM »
Hi Motoheads,

The wife has a hard time reaching the hand brake lever. The span from the bar to the lever places just the tips of her finger on the lever. With gloves the lever is pretty useless to her. Any solutions to bring the lever in a bit? Im not seeing adjustable levers for ATVs out there like there are for motorcycles. Any help is greatly appreciated.

On another machine I had I loosened the cable a bit and was able to affix a small zip-tie in so it couldn't fully extend back out.  I later drilled and tapped a screw with lock nut in it to adjust it where needed.

Tried bending the lever. No go. That is some good material!
