I just got my 4 point harnesses in the mail... I'm gonna put them in before we head to the hatfield mccoy trails in WV. My question is the driver seat belt clip has a wire going into it what is that about?  Apparently it's not a limiter sensor if the belts not clipped cause I got full gussto with belts unfastened.  If anyone has installed harnesses in theirs can answer this or have any tips I would appreciate it.

It's just an unbuckle indicator. Not buckled there is a little icon that flashes on left side of the dash. I just cut it when I installed mine..but I also think I might have wired two wires together but I forget..cut it and if there is two inside, wire them together to make the blinking icon go away.

I wanted to keep the old set and the 4-point. The outside ones, the ones with the rollers for the OE belts I just put the "I" brackets on the outer bolts at the heads. The inside ones were a little different as I still needed to keep the buckle for the old ones so I removed the rivet holding it to the mounting bracket and custom made a sleeve extension for the shoulder on the bolts provided with the harness because they both needed to pivet.. and put both through it..having the 4-point bracket first.

On my 15' ex, it was wires disconnected to stop the flashing seatbelt light, rather then wire them together.

I want to put 4pnt harnesses in my 800ex.
Can someone tell me or better yet, post pictures of where and how you mounted the lap belts?

Can't get you any pics but if you are just going to delete the stock shoulder belt, you will just mounts the lap belts to their mounts.
