Nope..sorry. After they showed no interest in making the slight adjustments to make it work perfectly with CFM I moved on. I think it will work with one of either the CFM oil filter rings or the Highflow filter rubber for the Rotax 800 as is. I just wanted it.. perfect. I still may just buy one to see anyway. There may be a small issue with one of the fan mounting bolts on that side...and the oil cooler lines. Maybe not though...or at least maybe something we can do a work-a-round on.

What is the advantage of the spin on filter over the drop in filter besides having to remove three bolts on the filter cover?  The drop in filter can be inspected for debris without having to cut the canister.   Does a spin on have more surface area than a drop in?  I have over a thousand miles on my machine with no issues from drop in filters.  I have used K&N filters in my machine since it was new.

Not a huge advantage...that why I haven't done it...yet. Although you have many more options of filters and brand availability and even length which will give much more surface area. Of course the ease of replacement too.

installed the mr rpm spinon oil filter adapter today, works like a charm, bought the adapter that has no oil line fittings, lots of room, will make service a hole lot easyer, plus you can get the wix xp oil filter, lots better than the k&n filter I hade before

Well, how about that Sh*t! And no issue with that one fan mount bolt. What rubber did you use inside?

When I was looking into it, the biggest issue was the seal between the two inside. You will use the rubber seal off the oil filter but the CFM and the Can Am were slightly different. The CFM seal would fit the post-side but was loose on the adapter-side and would by-pass some oil. The Can Am seal obviously fit the adapter but may not fit the post as tightly as one would want but probably OK for this application so...get an oil filter for a Can Am 800 for the rubber. And you will need the O-ring for the cover....and one spin-on oil filter. AUTORVSHOP, what spin-on filter did you go with?

Well, like said, you will need the rubber seal off a Can Am cartridge filter and the cover O-ring..which the one off your cover should work, and a spin-on filter.

I do urge everyone doing this to note the resistance you feel during the last 1/2-1/4" before the adaptor cover seals. I was worried about how well the C/A rubber fit the post..ie being too loose. It should feel about like installing your stock filter over the post. Also the depth of the adaptor...ie going over the post far enough.  It's probably fine but just make sure.

I installed the spin on oil filter adapter on my Zforce800T
Quick and easy R&R of filter.
It's all a matter of opinion, and what a guy likes but I like the convenience, and a bit less mess.
