When I shift into reverse it takes awhile for it to engage and go into reverse. Any ideas

Probably the shifter linkage needs adjustment.

No but its easy enough. Just adjust the shifter so that the neutral detents on it and the transmission are the same. Here's a Z6 service manual. It all should be in there. Download it withing 48 hours of the link will expire.
