The 4 seater claims and assembly plant are interesting...

For one, Kansas City is where CFMoto warehouses their units. They rent a large warehouse from ABF who handles all of their logistics. The units aren't shipped to the US assembled but in crates. They are also shipped to us dealers in those same crates. We are responsible for final assembly. That's why when a customer says "dealer prep" is a BS fee I laugh. It takes several hours to put those things together.

I've been told we will see a bench seat model before we see a 4 seat model because the market demand for a bench seat is much higher. The US is the only market asking for a 4 seater, and the 4 seat market (total sales over all brands) is very small compared to the 2 seat models. China doesn't want to invest the time and money in a class that won't yeild much for returns.

There has been no word of a 1000 other than its a possibility. In fact, CFMoto US has been telling China if they decide to release a large displacement engine, they better go bigger than 1000 to be a brand that has finally gotten the upper hand over the teir one brands.

I have the VP of tech support as well as two CFMoto China reps flying in from China to see us on March 29th regarding quality control and recommendations on design changes and upgrades. I'll bring up the rumors of a 1000 and assembly plant.

It's not a 4 seater. It's 2. And it Is a 1000.

So the claim is the 1000cc gets a new chassis as well? You call it a beast, what makes it larger that the ZForce chassis?

As far as I know, they would just redesign the 800 to handle the 1000, like can am did with the 800/1000 motors. The current block is capable of handling 1000cc just as long as they upgrade the bearings, and do the obvious head/valve/cam modifications.

It'd certainly be cool to see a new machine released, but until something is released by CF Moto by announcement or actual product release this is all just speculation.  Nighthawk I hope your source is correct, but until there's an official statement from the company we really don't have anything to substantiate claims.

Either way time will tell the end result.  Hopefully that end result is something with four wheels, a high power-to-weight ratio, durability, and improvements to the existing models.

My dealer said, a few months ago, that CF Moto is working on a 1000. But, he didn't know anything beyond that.

I get it, your "a dealer" you already have "all the info" from cf moto.

"Tight lipped" is the information I have.
Maybe you should ask your US rep, when China is going to allow them to talk. Because China, is where the information is from.
Do not worry, I will not give anymore information ahead of times.
I understand you have sales to make, I am, also very heavily in sales.

Just adding my thoughts onto Nighthawk's & emersonsc posts about China & the Dealers take on a new CF Moto 1000 single or double cab. I've been a dealer, distributor and now a wholesaler slash retailer all within 10 years within the powersports industry. I can tell you that China is capable of making Germany looking like a tin pot country when it comes to quality & they will also give you the best price for the worst quality. They will do what you ask. This is the very reason I moved on from Joyner. I know nothing about the CF Moto management, but can tell from the outside that this is the best Chinese powersports company to compete against major Powersports brands so far. Not sure how many of you realise what ATV/UTV parts are manufactured in China already for Polaris, Yamaha, Kawasaki and yes Arctic Cat. If you don't know, use uncle Google to find out. China have been the biggest car manufacture in the world for ages already, powersports products are way down the line.. Now talk corruption in China and the Chinese make the lefties look like saints. If you are a lefty, tough you know what I mean.
Here's my point, CF Moto are a rock solid brand so far, that's number one. Number two is, what drives a good brand is CF Moto Dealers like emersonsc, there is no doubting his passion. No brand can survive without great dealers,  Harrison PowerSports are doing their part. Number three is the passion shown by Nighthawk. To retailers the customer is always right & that might be why emersonsc is being quite.
For me there are no winners here. I will give you my opinion though.  For what it is worth, never trust a Chinese's manufacture for their word, I have learnt the hard way over & over. You will have to wait and see, but I'm picking Nighthawk  to be correct & here's why. 1000cc plus is where the industry is heading and if CF Moto wants to be part of that, they need to bring something to the mix. Hell I'm selling stuff that can make Yamahas new XYZ 1000 get to 400hp. China is smart, CF Moto is smart. Joyner had a 4 cylinder 1100cc in 2007 with the Joyner Trooper, I stand behind Joyner being ten years ahead of their time. If only they had CF Moto passion or drive behind them.
Bigger automotive engines will outlast smaller motorbike engines especially when the vehicle weight has increased, is driving 4 wheels in 4WD & not one wheel, can have up to six passengers and not just one, can carry 500lbs in the rear tray and tow a trailer with 1000lbs of hay bales. All you need to do is do the math. A 1000cc+ engine will be needed in the near future.

This has nothing to do with me being a dealer. It has to do with the integrity of the brand, and the forum. You're sitting there typing things as if they are fact, when there has been ZERO as far as an official release from CFMoto regarding both of your claims, except for them to say there is no truth behind it.

I'm going to take the word of the several CFMoto employees who get their paychecks from CFMoto before I'll take the word of a rumor mill.

As a supporting member AND vendor, my concern is integrity. While a small stake, I still have time and money invested in the forum, but I also have several hundred thousands invested in the CFMoto brand, not to mention the countless hours of my own time reaching out to parts vendors trying to push the CFMoto name. I pushed my rep into getting more units to SuperATV so they could R&A accessories beyond just windshield.

I would LOVE to see them come out with a 1000cc or higher. Even more, I would like to see them release a 4-seater. I've got a few people hanging on hoping come August they introduce one at the dealer's meeting.

But as of now, there's no official release. Rumors tend to do more damage than good, especially when they turn out to be false. It makes the brand look bad. It frustrates would be customers when someone like yourself claims that it's 100% fact they are coming out with a factory in the US and a larger CC motor, then 2017 models roll out and neither of those things are true.

The 1000cc holds some water. I HIGHLY doubt the Chinese would bring a plant here to the States. The extremely high cost to operate and employee a factory in the States is not only far from beneficial, but would cause the unit to blow out any chance of being in a price point like current models. Those two aside, global trends continue to see manufacturing going to China... Not coming to the States.

I wasn't badgering you, I was asking to please calm down on the rumors. Again, you may call it a pissing match, but as for my self, I see it as making sure we give current and possible new customers FACTS that they can base their decisions on, and not hold out for something that may not be true, that will then turn them and their friends off the brand. A negative voice towards anything ALWAYS travels farther than something positive. If you are in sales as you say, you should already know that.

Once last thought. I've been dealing with the Chinese since 2002. My father and I got into Chinese products when I was 16. I've learned a lot in the last 14 years. The one thing I learned the most about the Chinese is EXACTLY what the folks from Pacific UTV said. You can NOT trust the word of the Chinese until you see it in person. They will say what ever they have to in order to get your praise or acceptance. In some cases, they'll say it to shut you up and continue to buy their product. We had been promised MANY things from MANY manufacters along these last 14 years, and a LOT of those things were nothing more than empty promises.

I have my sales rep, the head of parts, and two Chinese nationals coming from the factory, who's names I will gladly share once the meeting is over (I'd share now but I don't know their names). They are supposed to be here the 29th or the 30th. (Just got word it changed). But even then, I was told when I was having those engine issues someone from the factory was coming, and no one ever did.

I will gladly bring up these rumors, and even record the responses if it makes you feel better, and see what they have to say.

Again, my point with all of that was simply do not spread rumors especially ones that could be damaging. You might forget, rumors of a 1000cc for 2016 were running rampant last year, and guess what, no 1000. Turned a LOT of people off the brand. So to do it a second time in a row and to have no 1000cc would be pretty damaging. This brand is still working to gain momentum and I'd hate to see the legs cut out from under it over stupid rumors.

In all fairness, the guy in the video (from Canada) said there IS a 1000cc coming in the future as well as the jet boat.  But doesn't say that 1000cc is going to be in the utv, atv, motorcycle, or even the boat.

The jet boat was a failed project. I had asked my rep back in November about this, because a jet motor had showed up in my dealer portal under the parts section. His response was the CFMoto had made a jet boat for the asia market some years ago, but it never went anywhere, and would NEVER see the states for many reasons, including costs (shipping a boat + trailer in a container would yield HIGH costs on importing shipping alone), EPA regulations & testing, and Federal Safety regulations. The jetboat market is not very big in the States, and the high costs to get it approved for use in the States, not to mention needed two seperate models (one for 49 states, one to pass California CARB standards) then build up the parts requirement the feds require... its the same reason why you dont see the 650NK/TK Motorcycles on the States website.

No, they made some sort of Jet Boat a number of years ago for Asia.  It isn't something we would ever see here.
