I hope someone can help

I wish someone would do a video on that bearing because it is listed as a simple "Bearing Assembly" not a one-way clutch or bearing like the others. To me it is impossible to use the underside of a belt with coggs against a smooth bearing race to be used as an engine brake. I'm saying I don't think that is anything more then an idler bearing for the belt. In all other manufacturers with this type of clutching, engine breaking occurs only as ling as the primary sheaves are in contact with the belt. Some like Kawasaki have an electrical actuator that actually holds the primary onto the belt down to around 2-3mph where others let it release below around 5. From what I see, they are using that spring against the rollers to determine when the primary releases. If that's true, then a spring that offers less resistance..or a lighter spring will cause the primary to stay engaged at a lower RPM.
OK, I'v said my peace. Good luck with your quest.
