2022 Cforce 800 XC
After Contacting CFMoto USA, CFMoto CA, CFMoto Parts, and Local Dealer, with no information of the location of the plug to connected the factory wiring to the turn signal flasher.  I have to give props to the local dealer as they looked at all of their information, contacted both USA and CA offices with no information given. I have spent hours on the internet looking for posts on this subject and only found people saying they don’t know or there is no such plug on these units.

To start with, i don’t understand why this information isn’t widely given out.  I understand that in a lot of states ATVs can not be legally driven on roads, but the factory has installed the factory ready turn signal wiring.

A little background.  I rather purchase the factory turn signal upgraded tail lights, head lights, handle bar switch, and flasher.  I like the nice look and operation of the factory items, instead of adding an aftermarket turn signal kit.

I DID NOT want others to go through all the work I went through to find this plug, so i plan to contact my local dealer and post on the internet anywhere i can to spread the word.  I spent hours and tore my brand new machine down.  I removed anything that was covering the wiring on this machine.  I traced the wiring from each tail light, head light, and controller.

The flasher wire/plug is located in the center of the machine, up high about halfway between the hand bars and the battery.  To get to the plug remove the underside black plastic wheel wells on the passenger/right side front wheel.  There are two parts, better to remove both.  The front piece has to be removed anyway to install the right headlight.  You will need either a clip removal tool or a couple of screwdrivers to remove a number of clips.  Also a Philips screwdriver to remove two screws and a 10mm ratchet for one screw on the front side piece.  The plug is located on a small wire loom with three wires and a dummy cap that will need to be removed and then you will be able to insert the factory flasher.

A little more location description:  Located above the top bar, about 2 to 3 inches towards the back of the machine from the right front shock.  So slightly above the shock and towards the back of the machine.  There will be a number of plugs and wire looms in this area.  Gently pull on the smaller wire looms (about 1/4 to 5/16” in diameter).  The wire loom is zipped tied with one tie to the frame with about 3 inches of wire hanging with the plug.  Plug is black in color.

I know this was a lengthy description, but i don’t believe this information is anywhere!  So just trying to help out others!  I will attach a few pictures to hopefully also help out.  Let me know if you need further assistance.

Well, that probably saved me three or four hours of cussing if I get around to adding the t-signals.

With the factory setup, are you getting the "kit" that includes the factory switch as well?

Yes I installed the new factory switch setup.  It actually is nice, even includes a flasher button.  The dash indicators works with this setup.  All is plug and play.  Good luck!

Hey MotoCare, I really appreciate all the work you did for everyone. I too recently purchased a 800 XC and I want to do the same thing with it.I was hoping that you could help me out with where you found the factory switch and the rest of the stuff you needed? I was also curious about the lights, since the bike is already pre-wired aren't the turn signals already in the lights? It would seem so. Also, are the indicators already on the dash? Thanks in advance and again,  really appreciate the help.

I purchased the replacement headlights, taillights, handlebar switch, and flasher from my local dealer.  You can check with a local dealer or they also sell them through the https://cfmotousaparts.com/ website.

My lights did not include the turn signals.  If you look close at the headlights, if they have the turn signals your should see a strip of LED lights maybe 4 or 5 on the center top portion of the headlight.  Check your tail lights, the round light on the outside edge is the portion that will be your amber blinkers.  So if you hit your brakes and these round areas light up as red brake lights, I assume you will need to replace them.  If you look them up on the cfmoto parts site, it should show them. If you do need to replace them, they are reconfigured as plug and play, you do not have to splice any wires.

As for the indicators in the dash, yes mine did and from what i was told these are pre-installed.   If you do install the turn signal items, nothing will work until you plugin the flasher.   After that you will have blinkers and additionally there is also 4-way flashers.  All are controlled by the replacement switch that you install by replacing your current left hand side switch controller.

Have a great day and good luck.

Thanks, I have already checked out my local dealer and they were under the impression that they could not get anything like that. They thought it was Canadian only.  :o
So I checked out the website. I kept putting in my information and nothing was coming up so I gave them a call. They were able to show me how to do an easy search that gave me the results I was looking for. Wow the price, you definitely have to be determined to want to get these. I ordered the switch and flasher only. I guess I am a hard head in that I have to see it to believe it when it comes to the lights. I want to put those on and see for myself that it does not work. I am sure they are right but for that much money I want to make sure before I have to buy. Anyway, I really appreciate your help. Once I get the parts I think I will do a video of the install for others as well. That way they can see exactly how to install the flasher and the switch as well as find out about the lights. I have no pride in admitting when I am wrong so if it doesn't work I will make sure that others know what not to do.

Thanks again and have a blessed day.

LMAO. I had to come back and scrounge this up and it still took me ten minutes to find it hiding.

A bit over priced on the kit I think, but the HARD part was finding that plug . . .
The rest is a snap.

I purchased the turnsignal kit through the cfmoto US parts dealer. I had it installed at a cfmoto dealer in WI.

After install the dealer says there are 2 lights on the display ( an info light, and an oil pressure light) which they stated the computer says its clear, but the lights stay on. The dealer called cfmoto, and we're told it's a European part, and they won't do anything since it's on an American machine.

I was finally able to take it for a ride since getting it back and noticed the speedometer is no longer working.

Any help with these issues? The only thing that has changed is the install of the cfmoto turn signal kit.

I plan on calling the dealer who sold the parts, and the one who installed it tomorrow.

Thanks

Not a bump.
I purchased one of the kits and am trying to track down proof for Curren RV the kit ever existed.
somewhere I have the receipts for it ( I think) . . I save all the parts lists and such to have the part number on hand but I cant find it.
I spoke to a sales rep at curren that said "they never made one" for the 22/23 800Xc . .  I did ask him how he figured I had a factory set on mine . . I think his brain fried.
Looking for the tail light part numbers specifically if anyone has them.
I havent quite been able to pin the part numbers down but I suspect they may be the same as the 2019/2021 numbers.
