Was wondering how to connect the tachometer and which one do I need to use to get it work accurately??

I'm surprised the 500s don't have it built in the pod like the 800s. Many aftermarket tachometers quads and motorcycles just have you wrap a wire around a plug wire to detect the electrical pulse of the plug firing. In any case, always follow the instructions. They do make tachs for these in a much smaller version as well. That one looks a bit large and may not be waterproof. 


Might consider something like this. I use Trail tech products and found them very reliable and durable.

Hmm..per the Trail Tech site, only the panel mount TTOs have the backlight. But the Voyager does..which is what I had on my Brute.
