Dealer replaced CVT Belt with off brand and it it jerked when starting going forward or reverse. After 30 miles it Belt was burning up. I did break in the Belt by the way. Now with new o Belt, same problem. Did a bad install of the first Belt cause damage?

An incorrect belt can cause damage to..obviously itself but also to any surfaces that it makes contact with. It won't usually however effect the mechanical operation of the clutches. That being said there is more to installing a belt then just the belt. There is the R7R of the clutch(s) so an improper clutch install can cause damage to itself or the shaft it mounts to. I suggest you do a full inspection with the service manual for specs. Then you will have a better idea which direction to go with this.
