Hello allnim new to this forum and my first time owning a cfmoto. Its a 2015 cforce 500 classic, and my problem im having is I found a wire loose while I was replacing the battery and when I hook it to any power it sounds like the fuel pump is engaging and running, unfortunately I don't know where it was connected to but whenever ever I try to start the atv it will turn over but as soon as I touch that wire to any power it's like it dies down my starter and then I start hearing some clicking noise and its not from the starter solenoid. Can anyone one here with more knowledge give me any info as to what this may be.

Welcome. I think you will have to get the wiring diagram for it to determine exactly what wire that is. Shouldn't be too hard as those were pretty simple machines. I'll look and see if I have anything and if so I will PM you a link to download it. Can you tell what color it is? Can you post a pic of the connector? There are several wires that hook to the battery, both positive and negative along with the cables-all have eyes on the end.

Its black, and I will have to do that whenever I get home from work. All I know for sure is it is a green wire with a ring connector on it.

Factory eye or ring connectors are only used for either chassis grounds or battery connections...and all positive battery connections are red or red with a stripe. All others are common or grounds...so I would stop applying power to it until we know for sure what it is.

Finally able to update, and want to say thanks again for the manual pdf I was able to find that it was a ground that connected to the battery and after a few attempts she fired right up...Unfortunately now I have an over heating issue that I will have to deal with as well but wanted to give an update and another thanks.
