Just curious, as I've seen conflicting information.  So, I'm looking for a definitive answer: can you change the belt trailside with no clutch pulley removal necessary?

I've done it on snowmobiles and I was wondering if it's as easy to do with my new CF500.
Be safe, be responsible, and have fun!

I changed mine on my 2021 and I had to pull the primary to change it.   Couldn't see any other way no matter what I tried.

Supposedly...on all after 2018 you could. Like any you must open the secondary with the bolt/tool but on the older ones the case wouldn't allow you to get the belt past it and the secondary sheave without at least pulling the secondary about 1/2" out. Case changes after that fixed that problem...."supposedly".. I say that because all the videos show the primary outer sheave removal like this one but he does remove the belt without removing or loosening the secondary. Someone just needs to try it. You can with other makes so why not here. :)
