Were having overheating issues with our 2018 500. The fan just stopped working one day. We have checked all fuses and relays everything is good that way. Put direct power to the fan and it works. We changed the water temp sensor and it didn't change anything.

We've been told to check a thermoswitch on the rad, but there isn't one. So we were told it could be the ecu. If so and we buy a new ecu, does it need to be programmed or is it just plug and play?

Thanks in advance!

The parts breakdown for the CForce 500HO does show that thermoswitch but I don't see one on the regular 500. Here's a screenshot:

Check the relay. It will be ground-triggered by the ecu I believe.
