Does anybody else use this SAE 15W-40 oil for the 500 HO? I know that folks use a personal choice, but my manual says 15W-40, and I wonder if anybody else uses this oil also?

I run it in mine changed the oil out at 100km when I hit 500km i will change the oil again, no weird noises from it, If it says it in the manual its good enough for me.

Ok, I know folk have a preference, but I know the manual also recommends this oil, and I just wanted to know if folks were using it also. Thanks

Yeah most things I run have seem to never do bad with the designers recommendations. I just like to see know if others are using them or have they found something superior.

15w/40 "SG" witch is a high grade oil. http://www.cartalk.com/content/sg-sf-sm-sa-sb-sc-se-whats-it-mean-when-it-comes-oil
