Phone fast chargers usually require a transformer and an AC supply to give them a range of output from 9 volts @1.67 amps down to 5 volts and 1.5 amps as needed. These just take 12 volts, drop it to 3-5 volts and supply like you say 1.5-2 amps. Get one that's output is the most and it will be pretty fast. I put one in my camper that surprised my wife when she had to charge her phone.

Think I just buy a good powerbank then, so I will have enough power to charge my phone, drone and action camera.
