Display Brightness

Hi All,
I Just brought my Cforce 500HO home last week. I was riding around last night after dark, and noticed the display is brighter than I would like for night time riding. It's kind of distracting and kills my night vision. Is there a way to dim the display? I cant find anything in the manual. Or if not, does anyone have any tips/tricks for making up a light filter to fit over the display that would still allow me to see it, but cut down on the lumens?
Thanks Erik.

yes, "short press" the left button on the dash until you see "Ligh" and then press and hold the button, it will scroll 1-8 for brightness levels.

This doesn't work on all units,
I'm not even sure it works with the x550
I can confirm the atv 800, 400, and new 500 have the option.
Utv I haven't seen one yet.
That doesn't mean there is not some out there in the wild.

If it bothers you enough, put some tint over it. I have even used the cling type and seemed to hold on fine. Cheap to try.
