Hi all,

Just purchased a 2019 CForce 1000 :)
Can anyone please confirm if the engine oil dipstick should be screwed back in or just presses onto the threads when checking the level?

Is it also normal that the oil light gives a beep and flashes briefly on start up for around a second?

Thanks for your help.

Matt

It is normal for the new ones to flash and beep at start-up. And per the manual on other CFMs, check the oil without screwing the dip stick back in, just touch the threads. I'm pretty sure yours is the same.

Thanks Kawierider, regarding the manual, mines French and the oil level translation is pretty poor to say the least and not clear at all with regards to screwing back in the dipstick to check the level or not. I have now found the English manual online and the info is pretty clear.
