One thing to try at such a time: Most, maybe all EFI systems like the Delphi in CF Motos shut the fuel off when the throttle is floored and the motor is cranked with the starter. This lets you start it if it becomes flooded, usually rare but still can happen with EFI. Try cranking it 5 seconds or so with the gas pedal pinned. Worth a shot.
I'm reminded of a neighbour lady, late middle aged, couldn't get her 60's Chevy to start. I went over, saw it was flooded, and advised her to try holding throttle wide open until it starts. She understood exactly half of that advice and when the car started she kept holding it to the floor. Those old motors didn't have a rev limiter like kids these days bounce off for minutes on end. That old stovebolt six was doing a good nine grand screaming away as she sat there calm as a summer day, pleased that her car had started.
I eventually got her to understand that she should back off the throttle before the torque converter took off her feet.
ps. Sexist as it sounds and I'm sorry, but never tell such a lady to 'jog' the starter to help you pry a vee belt back on. No matter how long you spend describing the brief almost instantaneous engagement you need, and you can even demonstrate it, they hear 'try the starter', and jogging a starter must mean a 20 second long starter engagement session. Hate to generalize in this era of great sensitivity to offense.

Your screwdriver is on the neighbour's lawn.
