know where I can find a simple diagram that indicates which relay is which?

My fan stopped working and I want to test the relay. The shop manual shows the fan relay as the second from left (when looking forward from pax seat), but when I jumpered that relay I heard the front diff motor engaging. I ran through the rest of the relays and found the starter motor and fuel pump, but no fan. I powered the fan directly so it works.

Also, to make matters worse, the 4WD button no longer seems to work (no engagement noise). I think I might need to 'reset' the front diff if my manual override of the relay screwed something up.

NMK, thanks for emailing the wiring diagram. It's exactly what I need. Unfortunately for some reason I can seem to download files that get attached to messages on this site. I had tried to pull the wiring diagram from the sticky but all that rendered was a small corner of the image.

Well..email me and I'll attach it to the reply. Can't do that with manuals as they are too large for mail servers but the one page wiring diagram is OK.  My email address is: [email protected]

I know on the King Quad with a very similar front axle 4wd system, it is possible to get the 4wd button and the actuator 'out of synch'. The control wants to send the actuator one way and it's baffled by the state it's in, already there. You have to unplug the motor and apply reverse polarity 12 volts to it with test leads the opposite way to what you did before, to reset it. At least on that machine.

That's exactly what I did. There's a separate relay to move it the opposite direction and that worked after I hotwired that relay to move it back.
