« on: December 26, 2015, 06:54:08 AM »
I was out  on a short  run  and  that horrible red light came on  in the display panel .  I did a quick check  saw nothing  out  of the ordinary and it was working fine  so  a kept going towards home  2km  or so away .   It's showing a code   P0500 vss no signal  ...  where  is  that located on a 2015 i'm hoping  a stick caught a wire or something  but  need to  know where it  is  to  start tracking  stuff down

On the ZForce, it's at the front output shaft just before the yoke so pull the seats and cover to get to it. I don't think a stick can get to it there but many have reported speed sensor failures. 51 usd's. It's also covered under warranty.

Mine did the same thing. Dealer is covering it. It's not very common but has been known to go out. Mine happened within 60 miles.

Mine had the same problem, I followed the the wires from the sensor up to the connector at the main harness right behind the seat and where the connector goes into the boot the factory wrapped a zip tie around that harness and tied it to the cage, cut that zip tie it actually pulls on the connector and you will get intermittent speed sensor code. I also took the connector apart and put dielectric grease in it.
