need clutching advice

Going to the St. Anthony dunes, will be using sand tires on the rear only, any clutching ideas or should the stock settings work ok? I believe the dunes are about 5000'. Its a 2015 800ex

Closer to sea level I would say leave it alone but at 5K, better either clock the secondary to C1 or put some 22-23 gram sliders in the primary.

Thanks, I think I'm going to move the secondary spring as you suggested cause we are only riding there for a day but do you know the stock setting now is it b2?

The factory setting is B1, not B2. Next up is A1 but we want to go one farther to C1. Here's the chart:

Any specific link on re clocking the clutches im thinking about bigger tires
