Just ordered a plow from sidebysidestuff.com. open trail kfi straight steel blade 60". I have kept an eye out for one and have been checking prices. Most I found are $700-$1000. This one came to $540 shipped. So I guess I'll give it a try. Should be fun

Well it sure came fast. I ordered it Wednesday morning and it was at my door Thursday by 3pm. Construction looks good and solid. only has 3 positions for the angle 25 degrees either way or straight. Haven't gotten it all together yet but read through and pre-assembled in my mind. It has a few different setting for the attack angle as well. I'll probably just set it up to all the default settings and see how it works. blade itself is about 70lbs and another maybe 35lbs for the frame. I'll take some photos when I actually hook it up. Looks like it will work with my rival front bumper without modification, fingers crossed.

Well,  no pictures.  It is incredibly straight forward to install.  Thought i was going to have to notch my bumper but it tucked underneath the lower skid of the bumper and i had to do no modification. Didn't even have to notch for the winch cable,  it squeaks by the bumper opening with about 3/8 inch to spare

not sure how to get it? sidebysidestuff.com should have one for you if that's what you are asking. The plow mount does mount to the two bolts for the fairlead, which is also where the two main bolts for the bumper are. Once I had those bolts out I was able to pull the bottom of the bumper forward enough to get the plate under it once it is under it hugs the frame, so the bumper fairlead and plow mount all get rebolted through the same holes.

Last storm was 6 inches of super heavy stuff, plowed it no problem. Once I had a pile at the end of the driveway I had to take chunks out of it to move the snow but that is to be expected. I might drill new holes to give myself a 5 position angle as the existing holes give it too much angle for my liking.

We haven't had a lot of snow in CT yet, just a lot of cold weather. Not as cold as the mid-north though... just -10

Yeah my son who was in Davenport just recently bought a house in Blue Grass, sent some pics of the last storm you guys had. Now I guess it's back to being colder then F'k ...lol  What's this attic vortex doing to you guys other then the cold?

Your son is in Davenport and Blue Grass?  Small world.  Davenport is just across the river from me.  So couple days ago it was -20 something before windchill and tomorrow we're supposed to be in the 40's and possibly 50 on Sunday so it's passing through.  I live out in the country and they had a total of 1/2 day of school last week and one day this week.  That's unheard of.
