Over Heating

Out For a run today ,,,2015 Zforce 800ex was overheating,Fan wasn't working,, found the temp sensor Faulty ( at Rad) ,, Unplugged it and took a piece of haywire and inserted it in both sides of the Connector ,,, now fan comes on when the key is on ...... No more over heating ...   
Any one know where i can buy a sensor ?

This is a common problem from what I hear. There is a thread here on a replacement sensor..other then the CFMoto.

Up at the top bar click on the CFMoto-Forum first, then the magnifying glass and type in "Fan Switch" . That might get you there.

Any one have a picture/s of the EPS unit on a 2015 800 ex ,,,, As i posted earlier about an over heating problem i had ,,, however, when we were looking in around the front of the unit , one of the guys told me that it wasn't Power Steering,,, i texted the dealer last night he told we it was and the EPS motor is under the Steering Wheel ???
Sorry for the Seemingly Dumb Post ,,, i need to be sure ,  just bought the 800 a week ago WITH power steering.

Correct. The EPS unit is under the steering wheel.  Mine does not have power steering so sorry I can't provide a pic.  But I'm sure someone will post soon.
And as far as over heating... If you just got it let them cover it under the warranty.

Its a big electric motor under the steering column. You can't miss it if you have it.

I don't recommend that alternate fan switch unless you want to cut into your wiring harness and void any warranty you might have. That switch is NOT a direct replacement. I have the OEM witch in stock. I give all members a discount. PM if you need one.

What would the Difference in price between one unit Power steering and one with out ?
and the heat switch is covered under warranty...

i bought mine from a Dealer for $13,750 all in / delivered(4 hrs away) ,,,,, and with Power Steering,,,,,, iam a little pissed ,,, i text the Dealer a couple hours ago ,,, he said he was sorry and he thought it was EPS,,,, what should i do ???

I'd bring it back and get the EPS. The dealer screwed up not you. What is the dealer saying?

Agreed. Take it back and get the one you paid for. 13,750 is a lot of coin..even for one with power steering.

If he charged you for EPS you better take that unit back and get what you paid for or either get a refund for the difference, or hire a lawyer.
