In a middle of great day, the OIl pressure light blinked, I stop immediately, I worried that there is a fatal failure, I tow the CFMOTO from the middle of the forest.
At home I understood that Oil pressure light blinking describe a reminder to change Oil.
No word on that in the Technical manual. I can't understand why a reminder light is Red.
Please change it - it ruin my trip and I paid for the towing.

Is someone know how to reset the Oil pressure light after changing oil?

the way to reset it is in the manual I think. Pretty sure you press the two dash buttons trip and time set buttons turn key on and release.

The reminder is not red. Its just an oil can icon on the display. The colored lights on top are other things.

So we are all on the same page, on the 2014 and I believe to the 2016 displays, the RED light at the top is the MIL indicator. Although it flashed with ECU error codes, it is on solid with the engine not running. I once though it was the low oil pressure light too but..it's not. This is it:



In the dash there are several other indicators you don's always see. One is the oil pressure indicator which also is on solid when not running and goes off when running. The other is the reminder that can be reset when comes on. These are those indicators:

Well, I don't know if they are all like this but..I believe all the Zs and Us with this cluster setup are. I wish the manuals explained this stuff better..

They should hire you to sit with The Other two people in the factory making these manuals.

Lol..they need to take note on how the Japanese do their manuals for the US consumer. It's all there..everything, and well done and done by people that speak the language...well mostly

 

There is literally two people in the factory building these manuals.
They are doing their best, but I believe a technician should be helping them as they are just trying to translate.
I spent couple hr to reword their stuff, but that is like a tear drop in the ocean.

Wow...they need a full-time person then. And what about all the other countries and languages?   

They just swap it for the engineers Chinese to English.
Right now , Canada for sure is making their own manuals, should be out soon, and I did hear USA was gonna start theirs also.

Here's a fun story.  So I'm on the way home after a day of riding.  Turned onto the last gravel road and another mile or two to get home.  This thing just dies, and I coast to a stop.  The first light I see is this oil pressure symbol.  Dash lights up ok, but it won't turn over at all.  So, I walk to the barnyard, get the trailer, winch it up, take it back and leave it for the night.  Today, I'm on here looking up what this symbol is and I find this thread.  Well, I got to thinking, this had no warning at all, it was just like an electrical issue, all of a sudden it just quit running.  No warning, nothing. 

Went out to look at it today, and I must have bumped the kill switch when driving.  Too many daddy pops.     Fired right up!

Lol, I had a similar experience. Took my daughter riding when I first got it, she wanted to beep the horn..... well , next thing I knew it died!! Thought the same thing.... did I make a mistake with this thing??? Slight panick, looked down.....yep she sure did push the kill switch.  Lol.
