The easiest way is..the way CFM intended. Remove the passenger seat and remove the access door on the back plastic. Then drop your tube and funnel that they gave you at purchase...into the dip stick hole and fill away. I exchanged my tube with one a little smaller to fit the hole easier. Don't over fill! Put in what the book says then run it a second, then check it.

Like NMK said, But I cut the end of the funnel off jammed it inside the hose, taped it up then put the main funnel in the other end of the hose. A make shift long funnel with a bendy hose

Im currently in the process of trying to figure out a better way to deal with checking the oil and filling it on my Z8.  Im waiting for parts to show up right now but as soon as I get it sorted out I will share the information with everyone.  It is my one MAJOR complaint with how CF Moto set up its engine.
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.

I just went into a fleet and farm, grabbed a smaller long neck funnel than over to the vynail tubing to wedge onto the end. Super handy for filling in tight spaces.

Just did my first oil change.  Not a bad job, but had to get a different tube.  Used the supplied funnel, but then bought some tubing.  Even that was a hair too big to get into the filler, so stuck a little piece in the end of that.  It was slow goin'.

Little bit of gunk on the drain plug, but didn't think it was too bad.

I use two long skinny automatic transmission funnels. I remove the access panel and drop the first one into the oil hole, and then I put the second funnel into the first funnel which then allows you to pour and monitor the oil easily.

The funnel and rubber tube that came with the Z are worthless for the task at hand.

My first change a bit over a week ago had less than a Q-tips worth of fines on the drain plug and a four or five tiny  flakes in the filter pleats, and the oil looked great.

I had some flakes, too.  I'm hoping that's normal for break-in.  I guess we'll no more in another 500 miles or so.
