I have a 2017 cf moto ez 800. while headed to gas station after a ride the UTV felt like I was hitting a speed limiter. As I pulled up to the pump it died. got it started happened one more time. I got home cleaned the air filter sever days of very dusty riding. replaced the fuel filter looking filter in the air box. started it to move out of my shop and it died and has not started. It has spark I replaced the plugs one look good one looked quite dirty. I replaced the fuel filter and have fuel to the fuel filter. Battery has been charged. It still will not start.

Could it have jumped time???
Any help on what to do next
Thanks Keith

It could be so many things...and yes, a timing issue is on that list. Going to have to run some tests..compression, leak-down, valve timing...ect...and I assume the MIL light isn't flashing when running. What kind of air filter have you been running?

I have no lights flashing. I am guessing it was stock one but it is a coned type that takes oil and had a pre filter on it.
I went to spray some throttle body cleaner and the Butterfly in the throttle body did not open, Should it?
Thanks Keith

Yes, when the foot peddle is depressed, it pulls a cable and does open the butterfly on these. And you should know people using the stock filters...even with the prefilters...in dusty conditions, get less then 1500 miles on average out of their engines. Most less then 1000 miles. All due to particle ingestion. That's why everyone pushes getting the Unifilter before even it's first ride. Many dealers are installing them at assembly now.
