New Zforce! +tip for others
« on: December 28, 2015, 11:46:44 AM »
Hi everyone,
If anyone remembers my topic from a month or so ago, I did end up picking up a new Zforce 800 53"!
The Zforce has been great so far, and I'm quite impressed with how well it has gotten through the snow here.

The only issue i've had so far, is that under the plastic battery cover, there is a clear glass fuse for the key switch, and it didn't fit in it's holder correctly, and didn't have a proper connection. After I replaced the clear fuse and holder with a higher quality fuse and holder, I noticed that the turn signals flash much more steadily, and it seems to run smoother overall. I assume since the fuse didn't have a proper connection, the EFI system didn't have the right amount of power. If anyone notices that their turn signals flash faster when their zforce is idling compared to when it's off idle, or that their zforce doesn't want to stay running when first starting in the cold, I would suggest checking this fuse.

I'm very pleased with my Cfmoto so far!

I might check that. We don't have turn signals down here on these models but I do have an issue with it just shutting off sometimes when going into reverse and some odd running behavior at times.

I can't guarantee that it will fix issues, but after a quick drive around my yard it seems to start and run better, especially in reverse. Definitely not a bad idea to check, because I found out about it the hard way. It completely lost connection and left me stranded, I had no power to the dash, fuel pump, anything. I didn't have tools with me (whoops...), luckily it died right by a road, and I got trailered home and we had it running by the end of the day.

Better to find out these things in a situation like I was before you're out in the middle of nowhere!

And...incase it happens again, you know the first place to look.

That's definitely a plus! It's one thing to break down and know what's wrong, it is so much more frustrating when you don't know what's wrong.

One thing they do need a is little better tool bag. I think I'll put something together that may help a little more in those situations.

From dealing with HiSun products for so many years, which use the same Delphi EFI system, I will tell you they are sensitive to power issues. A loose crappy power connections causes so many running issues that you feel like youre chasing a ghost.

Thank you for this find for sure.
