hey guys, new here. I've been reading as much as I have time but I'm hoping someone can take a few minutes to help me out and keep me from having to read for 10 days.
2016 800 EX. I bought it snorkeled with 500 miles on it. It has an aftermarket filter in it. They removed the spark arrestor and replaced it with a larger tip welded to the old flange. I added 30" ITP cryptid tires. Primary is stock, secondary set to B2. Waiting on 23g Dr. Pulley rollers.
It runs decent but I'm looking to add a programmer. I keep hearing they run lean but looking at EJK's site the recommended stage 1 settings take fuel away, not add it. I'm likely going to order an actual exhaust if I can find something, but that's probably it. I haven't seen any other cost effective power mods.
So the question is, what's the deal with programmers here? What's best? I'm looking for any useful advice anyone has time to spare giving. I'm not seeing much for sale for it through Dennis Kirk so I'd like to get all these items at once and get it wrapped up in one shot. New muffler if it's worth it and programmer. And anything else I'm missing...
