My Exhaust project
« on: July 23, 2016, 05:08:13 PM »
Hi everyone!
I live in Argentina and I have a 800 Ex EPS 2015 with 1000km.
I took the idea of this topic: http://cfmoto-forum.com/how-to's/z8-stock-muffler-modification/msg1312/#msg1312

The result is:

The sound:

Then I thought that I need a better sound and I bought a new exhaust to apply a modification:

I bought an SPR exhaust.

Working in process. Only to check the sound.

I have another model an spr evo5 but this is to another project (comming soon cf moto 625)

The next step is create a new support to the exhaust and I will create a new curve from the main exit to the muffler.

Next week I will post new updates.

it has a very nice sound to it.  Its hard to tell how loud something is via video though.  Is it really loud or not to bad?
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.

I modificated only the exhaust.  I haven't fuel controller.

I tested the sound indoor. On the weekend I will test outdoor running. I think that the sound is loud but not much.

I do so love the sound of that 800 !! :P  The general rule of thumb is if you put an aftermarket air filter AND exhaust on it, the AFR controller will help out significantly and keep the air/fuel ratio within specs to keep the motor and exhaust where they need to be temperature-wise.
