Regarding the pre-filter between the seats.   I don't recall ever seeing this mentioned,, not from the dealer and not in the owners or service manuals (unless I missed it).

Well, it's there...and it has to be serviced.

Ill be sure to check this out.      If there is one there from the factory, kinda BS that its not mentioned anywhere.

Yeah...especially where it is it gets packed-up with dirt and dust pretty fast. Most of us move the intake out from there and put another clamp-on filter on it.

Come to think about it I don't remember anywhere telling you to clean the little sponge filter that's in the CVT intake either. Hmmm...well at least that one you can just pop-off the grill cover to get to it.
