I bought (2) of the flip ups yesterday for our 2016 800 EX's, from SuperATV. Looking forward to getting them installed.

Update on the installation and fit/finish ?? I'm curious how well the top panel stays up on a very bumpy ride.

Jason has one on his RzR. Send him a PM and see what he says.

I've had mine on since November and haven't had any complaints.  All I do is trail ride so it's constantly taking a beating from branches and it's help up well in terms of scratch resistance.

When I ride with it fully extended out it's not going to close or droop.  The shocks that keep it supported out are pretty stout and it doesn't bounce or anything like that.

Many thanks for replying, Jason. I expect this will be the first accessory I purchase for a z800. Next will be a Twin Air or Uni.

You need to make the air filter the first...in fact have it ready to put on when you get it home..no kidding..don't even take it out without it on.

NMK is right.  This is my Uni after one ride installed.  Granted, it was a dusty and muddy one, but who knows what the stock filter had let in before.

Here's a couple of pics of the windshields, I think they're perfect. They're strong, the ability to have them closed, or slightly open, or all the way open is awfully nice to have.

GPS on the left side is a Garmin Montana 650T, I use a set of these on the snowmobiles, too; they're pretty much waterproof, have good mapping in them, and the mount provides power.

No problem I hope you like yours when you get it.

However, I'd agree with going to an aftermarket air filter ASAP just make sure you stay on top of cleaning and oiling it or it won't do you any good.  If you keep up with the maintenance they're exceptional, though.  Here are a few videos straight from UNI on how to properly clean and oil them:

Good info Jason, thank you. The dust is going to be epic here this summer, I want the intake stuff finished asap. Machines have Twin Air filters on them now, just ordered the parts to get the prefilter done right, like NMK's.

At least with the TwinAirs or Unifilters on, you are pretty safe.
