I saw that too. I'd be all in but first I would want some reports from people that have done it.

Makes you wonder if these things are super leaned out.  How else are you getting engine temps down?

You know people say they are too lean but...if they were they wouldn't run right and there would be problems with piston-melt-downs so I think they may be set to meet US requirements. Besides, I like getting 20+mpg. Now when I did my exhaust pipe mod and didn't install a spark arrester, the drop in back pressure did make it lean to a point that it ran like sh*t and I know I went over the line. So I think its close but not over the line with all stock exhaust.

I believe there are varying degrees of rich or lean.  My guess would be that in order to meet emissions here, they want them as lean as possible, yet not so much that it's going to grenade a piston.  I always liked tuning my stuff to be a tad on the rich side to keep the safe and reliable.  I've also read that in order for the best performance you want a motor tuned to be just a tad lean.

Yeah there's a fine line of fuel/air ratios and it depends on lots of factors within that little range.

I have an air/fuel ratio tool.  I suppose I could plug it into the port at the rear of the exhaust and see what it's doing.

Think you're right.  I'd probably need to weld another bung in the exhaust somewhere.  I'm not THAT curious. 

This sentence would normally set off my bullshit alarm (...gained the most power & noticeable driving difference temperatures from fixing the fuel...) as it sounds a lot like Engrish (English Second Language not fully literate), bringing up images of miracle devices available on eBay from Taiwan or Indonesia with two wires sticking out, that are claimed to give 50% increase in power or some such balderdash.
I still don't see what they are actually selling.  Are they giving out a whole ECU for $99.00? Are they re-flashing your own, that you send them? (if so then how can they be 'out of stock'  for Polaris when there is no stock to deplete?) or is it an exchange setup?

In any case the wording seems to suggest that they make the engine run cooler, an odd claim regarding a thermostat equipped liquid cooled motor. Is this thing supposed to make the motor no longer reach the temperature to open the thermostat?
That and there's the point that a motor runs best at operating temperature, not hotter nor colder.  Heat isn't the enemy to be defeated, the less of it the better, it's a part of optimal running condition.
And call me a skeptic but are the CF Moto mapping tables really out of whack to the degree that some hop up company can get noticeable worthwhile improvements by fiddling with them?

Agreed, There is a reason companies like Dobeck sell their cheapest units for around $250, lots of research and test and quality control. The only real way to know is to use a wideband O2 sensor and see how lean or rich your  machine is running. The stock 02 is narrowband from my research which only knows if you are rich, lean, or neutral. Which can be a fairly large range depending on your applications. Im skeptical of a $99 unit that has "2 wires"....over the stock or upgrade wideband 02 sensor.

I agree with Glenlivet. Lean and rich are important for the engine, but since the injection started on these machines ( and no carbs ), this issue is minor. The ECU of CF accepts without problems an other air filter and/or muffler. Altitude is no problem these days.
I believe in correct maintenance. Keep your engine in top condition and check it regally. Keep your radiator and air filter clean.
For $99 I can give you al closed box with 2 wires.........
