Has anyone tried to see if 12" rims would work?
Enough room between the inside of the rim and caliper?
I kinda prefer the more rubber than rim look. old fashioned ,i guess.

Not enough clearance. If you want more visible rubber, go to a 27" tire. There is plenty of room to fit those in.

I running 28" Mega Mayhem's on mine and they look kind of small. From what I've seen on YouTube and this forum you can go as big as 30's without a lift.

So how much did it change performance wise switching to 28 inch tires ? that's a heck of a lot more rubber to rotate compared to the factory! I too would like to go with a bigger tire but I'm so dang happy with the performance of the machine right now I'd hate to lose any lol...

Lol well that sounds easy enough! Has anybody on here actually done any videos start to finish on getting into the clutches on these? I have a Massimo 500 also and it is very similar to the Rhino, but these are totally different. I would also like to see how everybody gets that side cover off without disassembling the whole machine! Lol it looks kind of tight to me.

LOL..its almost 6am here and on my way to work now. Yeah I stay up to about 1-1:30 most every night watching box with a tablet on the table to check forums. Weird..I know.

Nahhh dedicated maybe, but not weird lol I used to do the same thing when I wrote blogs on fox body mustang forums.....
So I watched a video on a polaris clutch; I guess it is the same? I was wondering if I have to do a complete disassembly on the secondary to adjust it. The video shows it out on a bench already so I figured that is procedure.... how much did it throw your speedometer off? Not worried about speed really, just that it will show more miles than actual.....

From 26s to 27s there is sure to be some speedo difference but I don't notice it in my riding. With the 25g rollers and 27-30" tires I suggest the B2 position. With 26-27s at lower elevations the A1 or C1 will be a great choice. The B1 is the lightest position and frankly, I don't know why the factory sets them there except it keeps the RPMs & power levels as low as possible. Makes the Z more like the family stationwagon IMO.

I really couldn't notice the difference when I went to 28's. Didn't ride on stocks very long though.

Sweet.. looking at tire options.. I can go 30's for near the same price as 28's.... we don't run alot of high speed (although I think it's frickin cool to be able to run 70 mph after topping out at 45 on my massimo!), most of our stuff is trails through the woods and mud.
